CANDIED CARROTS (HIGH) -
MICROWAVE
 
4 lg. carrots
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/3 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. water

Scrape carrots and cut into thin strips. Place in a deep 1 1/2-quart casserole; set aside. In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Heat 1 minute; spoon sauce over carrots. Cover and microwave 3 1/2 minutes. Stir and baste with sauce. Microwave an additional 3 1/2 minutes. Heat, uncovered, 3 minutes.

Serves 3 to 4.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
