2 slices bread per person
2 eggs per person
Butter
Salt & pepper

Heat your griddle real low. Butter the bread on both sides real good. Using either a glass or knife, cut out the center of each slice of bread. Place the slices on the griddle along with the cut out pieces off to the sides. Place a dab of butter in the middle of each slice and break an egg into each one. Watch closely and turn when the toast is browned good. Do the same with the cut outs. Serve together, season to taste.
