CHOCOLATE CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. water
1 stick butter
1/2 c. cooking oil
4 tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together the sugar, flour, soda, and cinnamon. Set aside. In a saucepan, place water, butter, oil, and cocoa. Bring to boil and pour over dry ingredients, mixing well. Set aside. Mix together buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla. Add to batter. Bake in large greased and floured loaf pan or 2 small at 350 degrees for approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Test for doneness.

ICING:

1 stick butter
4 tbsp. cocoa
6 tbsp. milk
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans

Ice cake while still hot.

Sounds hard and like a lot of trouble but it's really delicious!
