2 c. cold water
8 c. hot water and liquids from vegetables
2 c. mild vinegar
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
3 1/2 tbsp. onion juice
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
3 c. shredded cabbage
3 c. cooked peas
2 c. diced cucumbers or pickled beets
