OLD-FASHIONED HONEY TAFFY | |
4 c. honey 1/2 tsp. baking soda Bring these ingredients to a boil. Skim off foam. Boil slowly until firm ball stage. Pour into large, flat, buttered pan. Cool until comfortable to hold it in your hands. Stretch until it turns light colored and becomes too rigid to pull any longer. Lay on cutting board and cut or break into bite-size pieces. |
