1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter, creamed
2 beaten eggs
Pinch salt
1 c. dark Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. pecans (or more if you desire)
Unbaked pie shell

Mix all ingredients except pecans. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Scatter pecans on top. Bake 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
