TEXAS PECAN PIE 
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. white Karo syrup
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecan halves

Mix all ingredients except pecans with mixer until blended, then add pecans. Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Bake at 325 degrees about 40 minutes or until done.
