PORTUGUESE SHORTBREAD 
1 c. flour
1/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. soft butter
Pinch of salt

Mix thoroughly and place on bottom of greased 10 x 14 inch pan. 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs 1 c. chopped walnuts 3 tbsp. flour Pinch of salt 1 c. coconut 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix dry ingredients together thoroughly. Add well beaten eggs, nuts, coconut and vanilla. Spread on top of first mixture. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. Mix 1 large cream cheese, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 box powdered sugar. Spread on after bread is cold.
