PIZZA CASSEROLE | |
1 (1 lb.) box of Vimco wheels 1 sm. jar Ragu spaghetti sauce 1 sm. jar Ragu pizza sauce 1 lb. hamburger 1 (12 oz.) pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese (3 c.) 1 (4 oz.) pkg. sliced pepperoni Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown 1 pound of ground beef in a skillet, stirring frequently to keep from burning. When hamburger is completely done, drain off excess fat. Now add the spaghetti sauce and pizza sauce to the cooked ground beef and keep on low heat while the wheels are cooking. Place 1 pound of Vimco wheels in 4 quarts of boiling water to which 4 teaspoons salt has been added. Boil 15 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally. Drain in a colander. Place cooked wheels into original cooking pan and add the hamburger sauce mixture, stirring until wheels are well coated. Pour 1/2 of coated wheel mixture into a 9 x 12 inch baking pan. Now sprinkle 1/2 of shredded cheese on top of mixture, top with half of the pepperoni. Pour remaining wheel mixture on top of pepperoni and top with remaining cheese and pepperoni, layering. Cover with aluminum foil, bake at 350 degrees for an hour or until cheese is melted and the pepperoni is completely cooked. |
