1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cocoa
1/2 c. butter
1/4 to 1/2 c. peanut butter
3 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix sugar, milk, cocoa, and butter and bring to boil. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter, oatmeal, salt, and vanilla. Drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper. Chill until set. Store tightly covered.
