UNBELIEVABLE!!! This is quite possibly the best macaroni and cheese recipe I've ever had. We don't like Tomatoes so those got omitted. And I had to crank the heat several times to get the white sauce to thicken but other than that it was fantastic. Thank you so much for posting this!!

We have used this recipe for years and we use chunks of ham instead of tomatoes. It is so good, everyone will enjoy it.

I am very surprised this has any good reviews. I followed the recipe exactly and it was the worst we had ever had (husband and I both agree).

I made this for my 5 year old son and me. We both really liked it! This is the first homemade macaroni recipe I was able to get my son to eat AND he liked it! I omitted the tomato and Parmesan, but sprinkled some cheddar cheese on top and cooked uncovered for the last 7 minutes. I'm not usually fond of creamy mac n cheese, but I really liked this one!
