PUNCH BOWL CAKE 
1 box yellow cake mix (bake according to directions in 13"x9" cake pan)
2 lg. boxes vanilla instant pudding (following directions on box)
3 cans cherry pie filling
3 cans unsweetened pineapple, crushed
1 c. or more pecans
1 lg. container Cool Whip

While cake cools, prepare vanilla instant pudding, chop pecans and drain juice from pineapple. Slice cake in thin layers and place first layer in punch bowl, brown side facing outside of bowl. Then spread layers of pudding, cherries, pineapple, Cool Whip and pecans. Continue layering until punch bowl is full.
