CHOP SUEY 
Sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
1 celery, cut diagonal
Carrots, cut diagonal
2 onions, cut in strips
2 cloves garlic
1-2 c. peppers, cut into strips
Pea pods
Bamboo shoots
2 c. beef broth
2 tbsp. corn starch
4 tbsp. soy sauce
Bean sprouts
Water chestnuts, sliced
Salt

Brown meat in Crisco. Remove from pan. Put onions, celery, carrots and peppers in wok; cook until tender. Mix beef broth, corn starch and soy sauce together. Add meat and broth mixture. Let cook 5-10 minutes. Add bean sprouts and chestnuts. Cook 10-15 minutes longer. Serve over rice.
