JUDY'S BROCCOLI CASSEROLE 
2 (10 oz.) pkgs. frozen broccoli
2 c. cooked or canned pearl onions
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
1 c. milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. soft bread crumbs
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese

Cook broccoli according to directions on the package. In saucepan melt butter, blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk, all at once. Cook until thick and bubbly. Reduce heat and add cream cheese until smooth. Stir in vegetables, turn into 1 1/2 quart casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Melt remaining 2 tablespoons butter and toss with bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over casserole and bake an additional 20 minutes.
