CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDE BROWNIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt (opt.)
1/2 c. nuts
2/3 c. butter
2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 slightly beaten eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chocolate chips

Sift together flour, baking powder, soda and salt; set aside. Melt butter in saucepan; remove from heat. Add brown sugar; mix well. Add slightly beaten eggs and vanilla. Blend together with flour mixture, a small amount at a time; mix well. Spread on greased cookie sheet. Sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool in pan. Cut into bars.
