CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. butter, melted
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces

Combine butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla; mix well. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into brown sugar mixture; blend well. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars. Makes approximately 4 dozen. (You can cut recipe in half, bake in an 8 inch pan.)
