CHOCOLATE CHIP BLONDE BROWNIES 
2/3 c. melted butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Dash salt
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Nuts (optional)

Combine butter, brown sugar, egg and vanilla; mix well. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Stir into brown sugar mixture; blend well. Stir in chocolate chips (nuts). Spread in a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
