1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 pkg. marshmallows
6 tsp. butter
1 1/3 c. coconut
2 c. Rice Krispies
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 gal. ice cream, sliced thin

Bring chocolate chips and evaporated milk to a boil. Add marshmallows (I prefer the small ones) and stir until melted, then cool. Brown butter and coconut. Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies and nuts. Layer in a 9 x 13 pan; 1/3 of the cereal mix, layer of ice cream, chocolate mixture, cereal, ice cream, chocolate mixture, cereal on top. Freeze.
