GERMAN CHOCOLATE FROSTING 
1 1/3 c. evaporated milk
4 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/3 c. chopped pecans
1 1/3 c. sugar
2/3 c. butter
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut

Combine milk, sugar, egg yolks, and butter in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil and cook over medium heat 12 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir until frosting cools, after removed from heat, until spreading consistency. Yields: enough for 3 layered 9 inch cake. Double recipe if you like lots of icing.
