RICE CASSEROLE | |
1 c. long grain rice 3/4 stick butter 2 cans Campbell's beef consomme 1 c. water 1 pkg. slivered blanched almonds Melt butter in fry pan. Add rice and almonds stirring until brown. Do not use instant rice. Pour in 1 can consomme. Place in 1 1/2 quart casserole and add can of consomme and water. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, covered and 45 minutes uncovered. Serves six. |
