STRAWBERRY ANGEL FOOD DESSERT 
1 (3 oz.) pkg. Jello
1 (10 oz.) pkg. sliced frozen strawberries
1 tbsp. sugar
Pinch of salt
1/2 of 10 inch angel food, torn in pieces
1/2 pt. whipping cream or 8 oz. pkg. Cool Whip

Dissolve Jello in 1 1/4 cups boiling water, stir in thawed strawberries, sugar and salt. Cool until it begins to thicken. Fold in whipped cream.

Cover bottom of 9 inch pan with half torn angel food. Pour over 1/2 strawberry cream mixture. Make another layer of torn cake, pour remaining strawberry and cream mixture. Refrigerate 4-5 hours to set. Cut in squares to serve with or without garnish.
