LUSCIOUS APRICOT SQUARES 
2 c. flour
3/4 c. butter, melted
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. coconut
3/4 c. pecans
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 (18 oz.) jar apricot preserves

Mix first 6 ingredients and spread half of mixture on the bottom of a 9 x 13 inch ungreased pan. Spread 18 ounce jar of apricot preserves over this and crumble remainder of mixture over the top and gently pat down. Bake 5 minutes at 400 degrees and then turn oven down to 350 degrees and bake for 20 more minutes. Makes 24 bars.
