BAKED LASAGNA 
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 med. onion, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
2 tbsp. salad oil
2 1/2 c. tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground oregano
3/4 lb. lasagna noodles
1 lb. cottage cheese
1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese

Brown meat, onion, and garlic lightly in oil over medium heat. Cook noodles according to directions on package, leaving them slightly underdone; drain well. Cover bottom of 9 x 13 inch dish with 1 1/2 cups meat mixture; layer half noodles until meat is covered. Spread with half cottage cheese; sprinkle with half Parmesan, then 1/3 Mozzarella. Repeat once. Top with remaining meat mixture and Mozzarella. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
