1/4 c. butter 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. ground cloves 2 c. pecan halves Place butter in a 1-quart microwave-safe casserole dish. Microwave at high power for 30 to 45 seconds or until melted. Stir in sugar, cinnamon and cloves. Microwave at high power for 1 to 2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Stir in nuts until well-coated. Microwave at high power for 4 to 5 minutes. Use pot holders to remove as casserole dish will be very hot. Spread nuts on waxed paper to cool. |
