CHOCOLATE OATMEAL BARS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. flour
1 1/4 c. quick cooking oats
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preheat oven 350 degrees. In large bowl combine butter, sugar and brown sugar; beat until creamy. Add egg yolks and vanilla, beat well. Gradually blend in flour. Stir in oats and 1/2 cup nuts.

Spread into lightly greased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1 pan. Bake 15 minutes. Spread chocolate chips evenly over cookie layer. Let stand 5 minutes. Once melted, spread chocolate evenly again. Sprinkle with remaining nuts; chill 10 minutes. Cut into bars.
