FIREWEED HONEY 
10 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. alum
24 white clover buds
18 red clover buds
18 fireweed buds

Bring sugar, water and alum to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes. Take off heat and add buds. Stir and let set for 15 minutes. Strain through cheese cloth, pour into hot, sterilized jars. Top with paraffin or lids.
