PUPPY CHOW 
9 c. (rice, corn or wheat) chex cereal
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

Pour cereal in large bowl and set aside. Combine chips, peanut butter, butter in 1 quart microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after 1 minute. Stir in vanilla.

Pour chocolate mixture over cereal, stirring until all pieces are evenly coated. Then pour cereal mixture into large plastic bag with powdered sugar. Seal securely. Shake well until all pieces are well coated. Spread on wax paper to cool. Store in airtight container.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
