POTATO PLANKS 
3 med. potatoes, cut lengthwise into eighths
Vegetable oil
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. garlic powder

Set oven to 550 degrees or broil. Place potatoes cut sides down in ungreased jelly roll pan. Brush with oil. Mix remaining ingredients; sprinkle potatoes with half of the mixture. Broil potatoes with tops about 3 inches from heat until potatoes begin to bubble slightly about 10 minutes.

Turn, brush with and sprinkle with remaining mixture. Broil until golden brown and tender, about 5 minutes longer. Serve with sour cream, if desired.
