FRANKFURTER CROWN CASSEROLE | |
2 slices bacon 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. salt Dash of pepper 3 c. sliced cooked potatoes 1 c. cooked cut green beans 1/2 lb. frankfurters, split & cut in half 2 tbsp. white vinegar In skillet cook bacon. Remove and crumble, reserve for topping. Cook onion in drippings. Stir in soup, water, salt, vinegar and pepper. Add potatoes and beans. Pour into 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Stand up frankfurters around edge of dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Top with bacon. Serves 4. |
