SWEET POTATO BISCUITS 
1/3 c. buttermilk
1 med. sweet potatoes, softened
1 1/3 c. flour
3/4 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tbsp. sugar
6 tbsp. butter

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix together all dry ingredients and set aside. In a bowl mash potato and mix with buttermilk. Cut butter into dry ingredients until it resembles crumbs. Add buttermilk mixture and stir until blended. Form soft ball and roll out onto cutting board. Flatten out and cut out with biscuit cutter. Put on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
