BLONDIES 
1 stick butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
3 eggs
2 c. self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 c. pecans (optional)

Melt butter and brown sugar in saucepan. Add eggs and flour. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Bake 25 minutes at 325 degrees in greased 9 x 13 inch pan Cool before slicing. (Sometimes you need to bake longer - as much as 8 minutes).
