BLONDIES 
1 stick butter
2 c. light brown sugar, packed
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. pecans and/or 1 c. chocolate chips

Melt butter. Blend in brown sugar and eggs. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; add to mix. Add vanilla and pecans and/or chocolate chips. Spread in buttered 11 x 14 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
