CRISP TOFFEE BARS 
1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sifted flour
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add flour; mix well. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Press into ungreased 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 inch cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until browned. Cut into squares while still warm.
