1 box cake mix
1 stick soft butter
1 tbsp. water
2 eggs, beaten

In large bowl, put half of box mix. Add butter, water and eggs. Use electric mixer to blend and beat well. Scrape beaters and sides of bowl. Add other half of mix.

This will be too stiff to use mixer. Use wooden spoon and scraper to mix well. (You may add nuts, chocolate chips, etc., if desired).

Drop by small spoon on greased cookie sheet, rounding up instead instead of mashing flat. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees. They will still be soft, but will get crispy when cooled on cooling rack.
