NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST | |
1 1/4 c. Crisco 3 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 egg 5 tbsp. water 1 tbsp. vinegar Mix thoroughly Crisco, flour, and salt. Beat the egg, water, and vinegar mixture. Mix into shortening and flour mixture. Divide into 2 equal parts. If you use 8 or 9 inch pan and roll them quite thin, you might have enough for two 2 crust pies (using strips for top). Roll between two pieces of waxed paper. Bake at 350 degrees until done. |
