TEA CAKE 
2 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. Crisco
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3 level tsp. baking powder
6 c. flour
3 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Mix sugar, Crisco, and eggs; blend in buttermilk. Add dry ingredients. The dough will be real stiff. Drop on a cookie sheet by teaspoons. Bake at 300 degrees for 10 minutes.
