RUSSIAN TEA CAKES 
Mix together:

1 c. soft butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together and stir in:

2 1/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt

Mix in:

3/4 c. chopped nuts

Chill dough. Roll into one inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake in a 400 degree oven until set, but not brown. While still warm, roll in powdered sugar. Let cool completely and roll in powdered sugar again.
