CHICKEN A LA KING 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. whole milk
1 3/4 c. chicken broth
2 c. cubed, cooked chicken
1/2 pkg. peas & carrots, cooked

Melt butter in skillet and blend in flour and stir until smooth and bubbly. Remove from heat. Stir in milk, a little at a time while stirring constantly. Add broth. Boil and stir over medium heat until thickened. Stir in chicken and cooked vegetables. Ready to serve.
