CORNMEAL BREAD 
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar

Add: 1 egg, beaten 1/4 c. oil

Mix dry ingredients. Mix milk, egg and oil. Stir only enough to mix. May be a little lumpy. Fill loaf pan half full. Bake at 425 degrees for 25 minutes or until knife comes out clean. Should be lightly browned.
