RUBY RHUBARB CAKE 
1 white or yellow cake mix
5 c. rhubarb
1 (6 oz.) strawberry Jello
1 c. sugar
1 c. water

Mix cake mix as directed. Put 5 cups cut up rhubarb in bottom of 9x12 cake pan. Sprinkle dry Jello over rhubarb. Cover with cake batter.

Mix sugar and water together. Pour sugar-water mixture over cake batter. Bake 50 minutes at 350 degrees. Serve warm if desired.
