TOOT - A - R0OTEN CHILI | |
5 strips of smoked bacon 3/4 lb. ground chuck 10 oz. cubed sirloin steak 1/4 green pepper, cut in strips 1 c. chopped onions 2 (10 oz.) jars picante sauce 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce 1 1/2 chorizos 1 (2 lb.) can kidney beans 1 sm. can chili beans 1 clove crushed garlic Handful of dried parsley Pinch of basil Pinch of oregano 3 sliced jalapenos 1/2 can beer Sharp cheddar cheese Mushrooms Fry bacon and drain. Brown ground chuck. In another pan fry sirloin with peppers and onions. Combine bacon and sirloin mixture in a pot with picante sauce. Add chorizos, tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili beans, garlic, parsley, basil, oregano, jalapenos, and beer. Cook 3-4 hours. Before serving, add mushrooms and cheese. |
