OLD FASHIONED POUND CAKE | |
1 lb. butter 1 lb. cake flour 1 tsp. vanilla 1 lb. sugar 10 eggs (separate yolk and white) Cream butter. Add sifted flour. Beat egg yolks well. Add to sugar. Beat egg whites and add to egg yolks and sugar mixture. Pour batter into a well greased and floured 10 inch tube cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely. |
