“CHRISTMAS SNICKERDOODLE DESSERT” IS IN:

CHRISTMAS SNICKERDOODLE DESSERT
1/2 cup butter (or substitute by all-vegetable Crisco
1 1/2 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1 generous tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a medium bowl, mix butter (Crisco) and sugar; Set aside.

In a larger bowl, mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, salt and cinnamon.

Tip: Cinnamon is the key ingredient to this delicious treat. Use a lot, and even sneak a fourth of a teaspoon if you want. Just don't overuse it!

Add the flour mix into the butter-sugar mix slowly. Beat in egg.

Roll out dough balls on a floured work area. Roll them about one inch thick. Place them two inches apart on a greased cookie pan. (Other than greasing it, you can lay wax paper or aluminum foil.)

Bake for ten to twelve minutes.

Makes 48 cookies.

To make them look like a Christmas cookie I roll them in Christmas sugars.
