SWEET AND SOUR BEEF AND CABBAGE 
1 lb. hamburger
3 tbsp. uncooked rice
2 tbsp. chopped onion
1 egg
2 tbsp. water
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. dill weed
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. med. onion, chopped
1 can whole tomatoes
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. honey
1 sm. cabbage, cut into 6 wedges
2 lg. carrots, cut in chunks
3 or 4 whole potatoes
1 tbsp. chopped parsley

Mix meat with rice, egg, onion and water and add 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper and make into large oval patties.

Saute patties in oil until browned all over, remove from skillet and keep warm.

Drain all but 2 tablespoons fat from skillet. Add onion and saute for 5 minutes. Stir in tomatoes, lemon juice, honey, remainder of salt and pepper. Bring to a boil, lower heat, put in meat and vegetables. Lay cabbage on top. Simmer 20 minutes, covered. Cook until potatoes are done. Sprinkle parsley over.
