GERMAN COFFEE CAKE 
1 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. cold water

3 eggs, well beaten
1 c. melted butter

3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. sugar

Stir all together. Do not beat.

1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional), I prefer walnuts

Pour into 10 inch tube pan and bake in 375 degree oven for about 1 hour.
