2 lbs. hamburger 1 chopped onion 10 oz. pkg. macaroni 1 lb. can tomatoes (juice also) 8 oz. tomato sauce Salt & pepper to taste 1 clove garlic or 1/4 tsp. garlic powder 1/4 tsp. oregano 3 tbsp. snipped parsley 1/2 green pepper (brown with hamburger) 2 tsp. chili powder 2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 2-3 tbsp. brown sugar Brown hamburger with onion and green pepper. Cook macaroni. Drain hamburger and add to sauce mix, add macaroni and let cook over low heat for about 30 minutes. If you cook this early and let it set for 2 hours, then heat it, it has a better taste. |
