SYLVIA'S SLAW 
1 lg. head cabbage
2 onions, if desired
3 carrots
1 green pepper, if desired

Cut up the vegetables above.

DRESSING:

1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
3/4 c. oil
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. prepared mustard

Boil all this together and pour hot over the vegetables. Be sure to pour it over vegetables while very hot. This slaw will keep for days in refrigerator.
