CAJUN BROWN RICE 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 med. green pepper, chopped
2 cans beef broth
1 1/2 c. raw rice
1 stick butter

Saute onion and green pepper in butter until soft; add raw rice. Stir a few minutes until rice is coated. To the rice mixture add 2 cans of beef broth and 1 soup can of water. Add salt, pepper, and a few dashes of Tabasco sauce.

Pour all of this into a long baking dish (about 13 x 9 x 2 inches). Cover tightly with foil. Bake 1 hour at 325 degrees. Goes well with all meats.
