SPICY NOODLES | |
1/2 lb. vermicelli 3 tbsp. peanut oil 2 tbsp. soy sauce 1 tsp. oriental sesame oil 1 tsp. grated fresh ginger 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes 2 cloves crushed garlic 3 scallions, green onions, cut diagonally in 1/4 inch slices (I add snow peas and cooked chicken sometimes - increasing sauce accordingly) Cook noodles in large saucepan of boiling salted water just until tender but still firm (about 10 minutes). While noodles are cooking, mix oils, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, scallions, and 2 cloves crushed garlic in large bowl. Drain and rinse vermicelli and add to sauce. Toss to coat. |
