OVEN BEEF STEW 
2 lb. beef stew meat
2 stalks celery
4 med. potatoes
4 to 6 carrots, cut up
2 small onions
2 bay leaves
1 1/2 to 2 c. tomato juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Place ingredients in baking dish or pan. Pour tomato juice over and cover tightly with cover or foil. Do not uncover until taken out of oven. Bake 4 hours at 250 degrees. A complete dinner.
